Jon is an Emmy-winning hairstylist and makeup artist with more than 25 years of experience in the beauty industry. He began his career in Birmingham, Alabama, with Aveda before moving to Washington, D.C., where he immersed himself in the artistry of hairstyling and hair color. Over the years, Jon has refined his craft through apprenticeships with some of Washington, D.C.’s most respected salons while developing extensive experience in salon management. His artistry has taken him from leading fashion publications to national television, with makeup and styling work featured in Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Jon’s television credits include styling anchors and celebrity guests for ABC News, The View, ESPN, The Food Network, and Good Morning America, where his work earned him Daytime Emmy Awards in 2016 and 2017. He has also styled high-profile clients for prestigious events including the Kennedy Center Honors and the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. His fashion experience includes New York Fashion Week, where he has styled models for renowned designers including Oscar de la Renta, Jeremy Scott, and Betsey Johnson. Most recently, Jon became a member of Local 798, representing professionals working in film, television, network broadcasting, and commercial productions—allowing him to continue pursuing his passion for styling on screen. Jon is thrilled to welcome clients to the historic Willard Hotel & Office Building, where he offers personalized consultations, precision cutting and styling, customized hair color, and professional makeup services.
